Default I hate you peeps on AW!

You, yes you, just made me buy a 19mm Neuspeed rear sway bar. Yeah, I got it from Carparts.com and thanks to you, I had to save 10% on it with the code that you told me about. I only did this because you, yeah still you, made me buy H&R coilovers that make my A4 understeer now. It didn't do that before with the sport package suspension when I couldn't take the turns as fast as I can now. I hope you're happy with yourself... making my car handle better now.

jerks!

Default are you implying that your car didn't understeer in stock form?.......

that would be a first.

A4's inherently understeer. Maybe you just notice it more now that you're throwing the car into corners harder with those coilovers.

That car must be pretty sick with the sway bar now.

=)

Default most cars have some understeer built into them....

because it is much easier to recover from understeer than oversteer (for the unexperienced driver, that is).

hmmm... I guess I didn't notice it as much. the coilovers made it more apparent, i guess.

Default All large run production cars have understeer built in.

Save for extremely purpose built and/or exotics, understeer is built in to keep wanna-be race drivers from piling up cars.

Default all? ......no.........

Ford Mustang, Porsche 911, Porsche Boxster, M3 (traction control off), any Lotus, TVR, Ferrari....

I could go on. Clearly your statement is not true. Although certainly the vast majority of cars are designed to understeer a bit.
