I have the opportunity to buy a brand new Remus muffler for $200 plus shipping. Only problem is it
has DTM tips which I don't like. Should I get the muffler and switch out the tips? It is the direct fit muffler for our A4 Quattro.

Get a magnaflow muffler instead....
I have a magnaflow custom setup and it has some ***** when you fire the car up. Makes the coolest snarl coming down from 6000rpm. Total cost of mid & rear mufflers installed $320. You can get it done for less if you go to a tuner shop, I overpaid for the installation.

I have heard Magnaflow and its a little too loud for my tastes.
As for the throttle body, you will need to email UrS4 for prices. I don't know what the current prices are.

Mufflers.... The magnaflow 14416 is the mid muffler. $68
The Rear muffler is the 14316 $69
Add any tip you so desire. Just make sure it has a 2.5" inlet. usually about $50 Jegs.com has some decent Hooker ones. I have a semi ricey 4" Hooker tip that I got for $10 on ebay.
The pair is only $140! Installation if you are lucky will run you $80-100 I paid $120 which was a bit much.
Ask DigitalA4+ or any of the other NJ guys that have been in my car. The exhaust is quite nice sounding. Certainly well worth the cost.

I've considered Supersprint as well but this such a great deal. Supersprint is expensive
like all other after market pre-fabed systems. I was considering the Remus muffler and customing larger piping to the back and replacing the resonator (eventually).
