I've read that the PIAA bulbs like Superwhite or else are drawing 55W as the stock 99.5 H7 bulb, but it does perform 100W.
So it does mean it perform 100W of brightness or with 100W of heat generated as well??
I have 99.5 projector-style light housing and using Eurolite 55W now. May interest to move those bulbs to the fog and get one more white and bright pair of bulbs instead of Eurolite or Jahn. So if you're me and only have two choices to go with, will you try:
Vision HiperWhite H7 70W
or
PIAA H7 bulbs 55W -> 100W
I'm more concern about burn-out problem and read that one person burn-out serious with his 85W bulb but I assume that the bulb is not 55W->85W, so I don't really understand this kind of concept. One usually says OVERWATTAGE bulbs, do it mean by higher-than-stock-55W bulb like Eurolite 85W or Vision H7 70W, or they're talking about the PIAA 55W producing 100W???
It's great if one can help me to understand these bulbs.

like you mentioned 55W with 100Woutput. They looked very whtie, and bluish from certain angle. But, they burn out in 3 weeks. I then bought another pair, which is Razo superwhite, 55W with 110W output, they still did not last past 1 month. Just my experience.
