I have searched but can't find a tech article for chaning spark plugs in a 1.8t

Default There really isn't a whole heck of a lot to it. Remove the engine cover, then pull each coilpack

I think you need a 6mm allen key (can't be certain of size, just make sure you have a metric set)&lt;it's a 5mm. Remove the 2 allen bolts for each coilpack, then use a spark plug socket (not sure of this size either) with an extension. There are torque specs for the spark plug installation (15 foot-pounds, I believe)&lt;wrong, it's 22, but I think you can just get away with cranking the plugs in tight. Not too tight, though, the head is aluminum.

We have essentially the same setup: 0.030 gap works well.
