Default I hit a pothole on the highway tonight--Blew a tire and bent a wheel

Should I have the wheel repaired or just buy a new one? A new wheel is $250, I don't know how much it costs to repair. The pothole was fixed about 10min later. I have talk to the highway department tomorrow to see if they will pay for the damages. I'm glad Audi uses a full-size spare.

Default Definately fight to get the city to pay for the dmg'd rim. Most city transit authorities will pay

for pothole dmgs, but it can be a bitch sometimes to get them to pay out. Just be persistent. might as well get a new rim from city, spend a hundred bucks or something have old one fixed and use as spare =)

ouch...I'd replace it. Cost to repair would be close to that anyway

Default Well considering I was missing 2' of vaccum hose from my car

when it was delivered to me. It took a day for the ECU to "learn" again and today...my GOD it's like having a new car! The boost is there almost all the time and it's very consistent. Commonwealth did the warranty work. Dunno how the tubing got that way, tech guessed that it either got caught by the fan or dealer sabotage (it was a trade from Miramar Audi). So my car had been running lean all this time but no error code was thrown...even the tech thought it was strange! But he replaced it w/ the TT DV and made sure that the fan won't eat it again if that's what happened the first time. You should go to the dealer and complain about inconsistent boost...they might replace the DV for the newer one! BTW, my tech is the guy running the AMS kit running 1.6 bar of boost w/ the factory DV and hasn't had anything go wrong with it.

Default damn, 2'? your car must have driven like an automatic corolla(used to own one) glad you got it fixed

though. I'll call and complain to the sales guy and service manager once... and then drop by some time later maybe and repeat hehe. So what's next for your car? brakes? chip? exhaust?

Default This week I'm heading up to Neuspeed f/ chipping + exhaust + filter is on its way!

later this year i'll do the Neuspeed bilsteins w/ sport springs to lower the car just a hair (1cm). Last will be the S4 xenon euro housing. Am I missing anything else? Sway bar? Kinda leary with people having problems w/ subframe cracking though...

BTW we should hook up w/ Bugzy and my other buddy w/ the Avant soon!
