Default I use one of those tape drive adapter deals because I'm cheap.

Yeah, it's not great, but it works. Best bet would be an ICE link or whatever, if you use the factory head unit.

Default FM transmitters work also. Better than the tape drive I used to have.

Sucky part is finding the open station when traveling.

Default Ideally, I want to simply plug it in when I get in the car.

I would like to keep my factory CD player, if my son stops being a bonehead I will give him back his Ipod.

Not likely.

Default I don't have one, but if I did I would get one of the cradles with built in

FM transmitters. The Icelink or Ipod ready head units will get you the best possible quality but don't seem worth the price to me.

Default I tapped on the CD changer port in the back...

and ran some rca/composite cables to the front. Then I put a "dummy" disc (mp3) in the #8 slot of my cd changer(panasonic 8-disc) and play my IPOD while it's simply spinning a disc it can't read.

-As for holding the IPOD, I took one of those metal brackets off the back of my PC. The ones you have to remove when dropping in a new card of some sort. I cut about half of it off(or the width of the ipod); keeping the part with the angled piece. I painted it black and pushed it carefully between the radio and trim. Also, I used a strip of velcro on the bracket and on the back of the IPOD.

-Cheap, simple, quick/easy to remove the holder, not bulky, and you get to keep the cd changer.

Default i'm not sure which stereo you have.. but it's really easy to hook up a

blitz adapter that basically is a two line rca in to a single headphone driver. then you run the wire out to somewhere in your car. all you do is plug in the wire and voila!
