I am now realizing that I shoulda got 17" rims since they are gonna be track rims. Should I try to get out of the auction? Anybody want a set of OZ Supperleggas and Toyo T1s tires?

what are you doing with the RS4 replicas? maybe you could replace them with these.
what rubber were you going to do the trac school with?
you could always use these wheels, and then sell the wheels after the tires are toast.
just throwing out some ideas

I placed a bid before I emailed you guys, I figgered I would never win. Just my luck - the one time I did not want to win, I did...
I wanna go to the Trac school with R-Compound tires. I had planned on either selling the toyos or mounting them on the RS4 reps and bringng them in case it rains...
I plan to get S4 Stoptechs, so I figgered that may get a 355mm kit and that requires 18". You guys have since convinced me to get 17" track rims, and it is unlikey that I do not get 328mm brakes anyway...

If you have money for 18" toyo RA1s, get those.
tip: call Trac, order from them, have the tires shipped to the shop at the track. and arrange to have the tires mounted when you're here in montreal. they're cheaper here.
if trac doesnt give you a good deal for some reason, I can buy the tires with my toyo discount (25%) (which stupid enough comes out to about trac-racer/sponsorship price).
come to think of it, I dont think there's a big difference in price between 17s and 18s.
regards,
Liam

I wish I would've done that before buying 16" winters. Although, I sorta did since I was planning on just getting the BIRA/Porsche kit that ECS sells.
I never thought I'd be tracking a lot and *need* StopTechs.
FYI - those tires are good in the rain on the track.
