i just went to get front speaker adapters for my new 5.25s,and the mbquart specs say its for 96-98

i just went to get front speaker adapters for my new 5.25s,and the mbquart specs say its for 96-98
model a4s,are the speakers in a different location in the 99 models,i know the stock speakers are like4 and a half or something like that,will the adapters work anyway...?

kappas or kappa perfects? if they're perfects, royal pita getting them to fit
i gave up and just had kicks made..the perfects are just too deep for the doors. it's been done, but i have no clue how..the magnets on these speakers are seriously diesel.
kicks sound so much better, anyway..the speakers actually have a solid mounting point, and enough airspace to put out decent midbass. not to mention the better imaging gained by locating the tweeters right by the mids...
