Or you can do what I did (accidentally) -- DROP IT.
A few weeks ago I dropped my Palm IIIxe pretty hard on my bedroom floor. It did a hard reset, which means I lost all my data.
My address book and schedule were backed up on my PC. But I was really pissed because I lost my high score board to Dope Wars and other cool games.
