hey i was an ex-"ricer" but my car never had the huge wings etc...just the body kit
and wheels, exhaust , lowered and a sick system. But I agree most people use the term ricer etc, without know what it means.

Grassroots Motorsports had an article last issue about...
Shifter Karts outrunning Z06's at the track. HP to weight ratio makes a huge impact. But yeah, those sport bikes are downright scary.

People forget the original meaning...
In my eyes "rice" is not a certain look, but anything that makes a car look fast, but either doesn't or actually makes it slower. Most "bookshelf" wings add a few pounds of downforce at 150MPH and above. Lowering your car to 1" off the ground, screwing up your camber and blowing a seal in your shock. Etc. If an 800HP Supra has the aforementioned mods, I would call it rice too. Basically, if it is ugly because of a body kit, I don't care. It's posing as a performance car that bothers me (performance is more than just HP too...).
