i know i've asked this before but.....
putting new Sachs Performance clutch in this coming Saturday,
NOW Comes the question...
Should I or should I NOT machine down my flywheel by 30% in weight?
Pros: rev faster, easier to adapt get used to because i am changing it at the same time as the clutch.
Cons: reliability issue, intergrity issues.
any thoughts????
TIA

just think of it this way....
the fly wheel is a rotating mass and engaging the clutch maybe a little more harder since the engine has to make up for the lost momentum in the lightened flywheel. ie... easier to stall.
but advantages are easier to rev, more power at the crank....
everything has pros and cons.... well... almost everything. =)
