I know the V1 comes with a hard-wiring kit.....does the Passport Escort 8500 also?

V1 includes the hardwiring, but the remote display is $40 extra.
Passport includes remote display (limited information though) on their cig lighter adaptor (which is included for $299).

passport hard-wire comes seperatly but worth it!
