Default I live my life a quarter mile at a time.

I just got back from Etown. With me in the car, per Etown's scale, we were at 3480 lbs with just over half a tank on the first run.

temp/humidity 60' Time MPH
66/83 2.171 14.375 96.46
63/93 2.145 14.336 95.94
60/97 2.087 14.328 95.56
59/97 2.081 14.329 93.09

I never launched the car, but did feather it from ~3500 RPMs. I tired shifting at various points and my times are all the same no matter what I did. I missed the shift to 4th on the last run, which was going very well and should've been 14.1 or so. I don't think I can get this car into the 13s with this clutch setup on pump gas. I don't know if I'm just too afraid to launch it or what, but the shifts do not feel very smooth back on throttle. It almost seems as if it doesn't want to go again for a split second then it takes off. I wonder if my flywheel is toasted from the road course abuse. Also, I'd like to check with APR's home programer to make sure that I'm on the 93 octane program and not the 91. I also wonder if the very high humidity was a factor as well. At least I beat all four cars that lined up with me; beater civic #1, Roush Mustang, beater civic #2 and beater civic #2 again.

My buddy with his G35 got 14.1, 13.9, 13.9 and another 13.9

Default Race /race ... there are mid thirteens on DBW pump pump with the 'wild' 93 program.

You just can't baby the launch or the shifts ...

Default That is why mine will never see the 1/4 :) Running the wild programs on the track would make sense

to me. Look up Toaster and or Afrosquad on the S3 forum for the 411 on the wild ...
