just a minor buzz, but over all pretty happy with install

I like the look of the Stewart Warner gauges.

Default it is red at this time. i played around with different led bulbs

if you look for my boost gauge install post you will see a high res in red and white

Tried it, doesn't work. I think the volume is too small.

do you know if it uses the same type of bulb as the vdo? ecs-tuning sells an ultra red bulb which i think might work for my purpose.

Go to purems.com, and look for the T connector, it eliminates the buzz.

Default I bought a red bulb from the auto parts store...

it was the same size as the VDO bulb that came with the gauge. The pic you showed is white backlit. You probably can replace that bulb after you get the gauge, like I did. The bulb was only around $2 dollars.

ive used an ecs-tuning t-fitting, and an awe-tuning t-fitting. same results
