Default I NEED HELP PEOPLE!!!! MY BABY GOT HURT, NEED ADVICE ON WHO SHOULD FIX THIS

I was driving down 40th st in Manhattan while on the phone and went into a pothole. A gigantic pothole. Anyway, the oil is leaking + the plastic guards meant to protect the undercarriage were torn off. Is there any good mechanic/body shop I should take the car to?? Should I take it to Zumbach Audi of Manhattan?

Take it to Giovanni, just down the street from Classic!

Default My opinion...............

While Zumbach is a good dealership, it is a high volume "service" center. There are tons of cars in there. For a FAR LESS chaotic service experience, i would recommend taking your car across the river to Bellavia Audi (i use them). There are only a couple of cars there. It's quiet and i'm sure you'll like their service department.

Default Put in a claim with the city

Mo,
You probably won't get anything from them. But you should definitely try to put in a claim with NYC.

I used to have all the info a few years ago when I destroyed a wheel on NYC roads (but never bothered to put in the claim).

Take pictures of the pothole, the street -- including a streetsign to show location.

It might take a few months, but it's worth a shot.

Good luck !
