may increase vibration a bit because they are stiffer.

if you search you might find some posts where there is talk that too stiff of an engine mount may set off the knock sensor and cause the ECU to retard timing. i dont know if this is true, but i think someone on the S4 board discovered this.

personally i think 2.8/S4 mounts are probably fine for you, and no there's harm going with the RS4 mounts. this decision will probably come down cost

yup..btw i have them, i noticed the vibration at first, i think its gone away some since the install

Default increased vib...a little...

not much imo. Shifting's firm...and i loved it. When you shift at full boost, the RS4 mounts are awesome.

RS4 mounts are solid, s4/a4 mounts are liquid filled.
