Default the larger (26mm) uses a 17mm wrench right? there are...

only 2 sizes, yes? 14 and 26 and i assume that the 17mm wrench one is 26? Im just wondering because i want to get a fumoto valve or atleast a couple washers just to have.

Default That is correct.

I want one of those valves too. I wonder, do they have one that will fit the 26mm size?

Default I bet I know what happened..

the larger bolt and washer comes together for around that price. He charged you as if you were buying that one. When actually, you were buying the seperate washer that is for the smaller drain bolt. The part # is different, so why he made that mistake is beyond me. Unless, he was going by memory and just was totally off. Screw it..you are not out that much money. If I were you, I would by a bunch of em in your next ECS order.

Default Re: You don't need to replace the drainplug washer with every oil change...

I was going to post this same thing.I've even done it for brake banjo washers with no problems.

Default I paid $15 for the plug -- and they were the ones who

mangled the original!

I don't go to that shop anymore.
