Ran Vag-Com, no misfires at all for about a day. Now I'm back to square one. Misfires are back and I dont understand why. I have changed the plugs twice and replaced the gasket. The things I have'nt tried are coilpacks and the ICM, I hope its not my ECU.
Why would the misfires stop for about a day and then start back up again after doing a valve cover gasket?
I have'nt tried musical coilpacks mainly because when I run Vag-Com the misfires are always on a different cylinder.
The car is a 98 nDBW QM and I am stumped

Now I didnt change the plugs after doing the VC gasket. So maybe they are still dirty?
Where exactly is the ICM located?
