:( I screwed up on my midterm exam... DAMNIT.
Haven't had any trouble understanding the material thus far, been doing fine on the homeworks, studied this past weekend and the last few nights, felt confident last night when I finished...
But, have been working 50-60 hour weeks at the job, have a very tough deadline on 10/24 to meet, and have been very stressed at work.
Got to the class tonight after work, sat down to take the exam, and couldn't focus my mind on the subject worth a crap.... I was making problems far to complex, applying compressibility tables on simple problems, just totally out of it.... I've never been unable to focus and nail exams down, this is a first for me.
I think this is a sign I need a vacation from work - any of you guys ever get this bogged down and overstressed? Just wrote an e-mail to the prof., explaining my situation, and hopefully not sounding like a whiner. told him I didn't want special treatment or a re-test, just that he would see the final exam aced by me instead in a month and a half when that comes around.
Man... talk about feeling like a complete idiot. I need sleep and vacation....

i had 30 minutes to write an essay for an english placement test....
couldnt write ****. i usually do fine in english class. i get mostly As or Bs. did real bad that day and was placed in remedial english. but im gonna take the placement test over again. i dont really mind.
