I stopped an waited a few seconds and then it started right up. But not the Check engine light is on! Is this something to worry about. It is on steady and seems to run fine. Will it go away after a while? I dont want to have to go to the dealer again.

Might be a bad ECU or a loose connection

Default My friend, I had this exact same problem

After a while it got to the point that it would not start at all, just crank. If you VAG it, you will probably get codes concerning no signal to fuel injectors 1-4. Yes, it could be a bad ECU, it could even be in the wiring harness, but my money goes on the $30 fuel pump relay. That was the source of my aggravation.
