Default i strippen my oil plug this weekend when i was trying to change my oil. I bought a new plug from

the dealership..but i need some suggestions on how to take the stripped plug off.

Lesson Learned: never try to do a job without the right tools.

Default You are going to have to find a slighly smaller socket...

or you can wrap some latex around the plug and that will allow for more grip.

Default nah..i didnt turn it the wrong way...i tried to use the same wrench that i use on the wheels and it

was at a bad angle and it stripped the corners

Default get a pair of vise grip lock them on as tight as u can and tap it with a hammer

until you break the seal then it should come right out,,, i had the same problem,, make sure u buy the washer too for the bolt

Default Use a metrinch socket

They grab the head of the bolt in the center of the wall, not at the corner.
