Default I think I found my coolant leak

It seems to be in this area here. It's right behind the lower grill. Any ideas to what part may be leaking?

Default I'm thinking it may be the valve

It's difficult to see, but it's an area where the hose is connected to something.

Default I think I am losing coolant from that area too.

Right behind there. I've had a slow leak for a while and there is no obvious pink crusty crap so I've been a bit frustrated. I suspect it is the drain for the radiatior like f3d is saying but it's not leaking fast enough to annoy me into taking the bumper off.

Default If its just the drain plug, you don't need to remove the bumper

Just pull the grille off and you can get to it from there.

Default Not to be the bearer of potentially bad news but...

Mine, in the same area, turned out to be the radiator itself. Unfortunately an increasingly common problem with older cars, the bottom of one of the vertical 'tubes' on the sides of the radiator begins to leak at its union with the radiator coils themselves. However, in your case, the leak is on the side of the radiator drain, so hopefully it's just that.

Is the drain valve part of the lower hose assembly?

Default no drain valve is part of the radiator and on the front, the hose is on the rear

pretty much right behind it. the hose is a b*tch to get to..did anyone touch that area of the car recently? or did you run over anything large recently?
