Default I think I have a boost leak....

I started noticing a drop in power over the weekend and now I have a new noise coming from my car. Under load the car sounds like it is venting the compressed air from somewhere on the drivers side, Instead of a high pitch whistle that my turbo normally makes, I now have a very loud whish sound. I have "Vag'd" my car and it is showing a great deviation in block 115. The specified boost vs. actual boost is greatly different. What would you guys think? I can't see or feel any leaks from the top of the car, but, It does sound like something coming from the bottom. I called dealer today and have appointment on thursday to get it checked. Help

Default I had a leak near the secondary air injection solenoid.

Felt like boost was leaking into the atmosphere. The solenoid is located between the engine and the firewall (go straight back from the oil filler cap). I don't know how you would rule out a leak there. You could definitely hear a funny noise from there at idle. Ed P once mentioned spraying baby powder over an area with a suspected leak.

Default Have you checked the hoses from the turbo to the lock carrier tube and the hoses from the lock

carrier to the IC and from the IC to the TB?
