i used a brillo pad to remove some marks from my wheels. now there scratched...can they be revived?

Applying any type of clear oil to the scratched rims will...

help hide the scratches but only until the next wash. AND brake dust will tend to cling to the oil.

what I have found to work great is them cup/glass cleaner scrub brushes

and it does not sctrach!

cheap too about $1

It may get better over time ...

A relative of mine thought it would work to use a scotchbrite to clean a couple of her car's wheels until I saw what she was doing and yelled in horror. Scratched them up fairly good. Now, a year or so later, they are hardly noticeable. Must have oxidized to the same color as the rest of the wheel ...
