yes, I recently spoke with Matt at Stoptech about it. they claim NE salt/chemicals -->

well at least they know it can happen...
big question I have, how thoroughly do you need to clean those type of things?? Like spray it with a hose and it's good, or actually take the damn things off and work them that way. Might almost be better to have a designated set of winter rotors and pads that fit the stoptech calipers than ahve to go through replacing those hats... those things ain't cheap for sure!
Glad you passed inspection. I need to go get my windshield replaced before I can do that... this area is death to glass lemme tell ya. THis one didn't even make it a year, where the original went 8 full years without being broken.
