I went to the VW dealership today to buy some G11

They said that they only had G12 and something else. They said that what they had would work for my car, which has G11, and gave me VW/Audi antifreeze. The bottle says Coolant Antifreeze ZVW 237 105. It is an Audi/VW bottle and says that it is aluminum compatible and says ethylene glycol. It also doesn't say that it contains phosphate either, so will this be OK for my car? Oh, and BTW, this is blue just like G11.
Thanks

I just don't want this to cause a catastrophic failure, such as mixing G11 and G12

G-05 aka Mercedes coolant is what you want. Zerex G-05 at PepZones. Use distilled water after a good hose flush. Don't put G-12 or Dexcool in your system, you were better off without it, very bad and being phased-out. G-11 is bogus and out-dated. G-05, all the way, do a search or scroll back a few pages.
