Default An idea for boost gauge.

Dunno if anyone has thought of this. Y not convert the battery meter gauge over to a boost gauge. Who ever looks at that gauge anyway. Don't know if this could be possible but it would definitely be cool if it could be done.

Default sure it could...

you just have to find a gauge small enough to fit.
go for it!

Default If you could convert the pressure to volts and then it would be easy

You could still use the same gauge, you'd just need a way to input a voltage to the gauge. Isn't there already somewhere you could tap into if you wanted to add an electronic boost guage (instead of the mechanical that most (all?) of us have).

Who did the LED boost gauge? Audizone? check there for where he got his input signal.

Take that signal, alter it as needed to correspond to an ouput voltage that is within the volt readings on the current gauge.

Then get a new sticker made for the instrument cluster.
Mark P

Default good idea!

you would need to add an amp though. the voltage from the audizone board is low.

Default Someone has actually done this

When the archives come back up, you can dig around in there for the info. They also used a switch so you could toggle between boost guage and volt meter.
Regards,
Rodney
