Default Ideas for strong lightweight 17" wheels for under $300 each?......

So far OZ Superleggeras are the leading contenders.

I'd love to get SSR Comps, but they're just too expensive.

Default BBS RK's are sort of light, and you can get them for under $300 at certain places.

Another option is the 01.5 sport package 17" wheels.

Default Used 17" factory wheels? Or new (more within)...

Someone is also running a group buy on the RS4 type wheels...$1200 or $1300 a set delivered. He was posting on many of the forums last week. Try the 02 forum, since it doesn't have near the traffic this forum has...should be easier to find.

Default Comps are light, but not strong...

I've heard so many bending stories here.

Still good for a smooth track, but not if the streets around you have potholes.

the real RS4 wheels are very soft, there was talk of a lawsuit because of them.
