Default If going above and beyond the A8 upgrade...

<center><img src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h257/nicklepics/The%20Cars/IMG_3263.jpg"></center><p>... but not looking to drop $2000 on Stoptechs. I would love to, but don't have that much money chill'n in the bank account.

The reason for this upgrade is that my right front caliper is sticking which gives me the excuse for an upgrade WITH calipers. Might as well go bigger than the 12.1" A8 upgrade.

So, my options are the ECS Stage II version 2 and the RPI Equipped 13" Race Brake Kit. Both utilize 13" rotors and 4 piston calipers. Both kits are $1600 which is the ceiling of my budget.

Here's the reason for this post. Are there other options available that use a 13" rotor and fall under the $1600 mark? Will either kit have any issues clearing my 18x8 BBS RX's with 32 et? Does anyone have any experience with either kit? Are there some pics available that show massive 13" rotors filling 18's? (I'm a sucker for pics so this is your opportunity to show off your goods)

Default if you are doing the work yourself

you can always source a pair of 2nd hand boxster calipers... and get the rest of your bits n pieces from purems. Retains the same rotors as the A8 upgrade... and you can sell off the TT carriers to offset the cost of new calipers.

Do you have to be a BIRA member to get the pricing on the brackets?

I am. I want larger rotors than 12.1's. Hence the reason for the post.

Default Where from? If you can link me, that'd be awesome. I'd take Stoptechs in a heartbeat if...

I can land a new set for $1700.

Will do. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't think they were out there for less than $2000.

Actually, all three. I don't Autocross the car that much, but want the ability to do it more later.
