If I let the car idle with the coolant cap off, that will also release any trapped air? (more)
I read this in the archives and was wondering if anyone has done this... I think I have air in my coolant system... Not sure though...

Re: I've done that... and it cools down, but once the heat is off, it heats back up which is why...
I think that the air bubble is trapped in there... but I'm not sure cause I am not great with cars... Do you know if that method works though?

Only when I am not catching air (traffic) It heats up. When I turn the heat on it cools it down and someone told me that is because I am getting the coolant to circulate when it is on. When the heat is off it doesn't seem to circulate and only stays trapped... Any input?

Re: aux fan only turns on when the AC is on... and I replaced the clutch fan on the electric fan...
Maybe I am wrong though, but I thought the auz fan only came on with the AC...
