Default Honestly, I live in VT in case you didn't know, on a steep insane driveway...

I have NEVER noticed a lick of difference between with EDL and without EDL. Coming down without ABS is nice, as long as you remember to not just stand on the pedal :-)

Default HA, yeah. Living in the valley along the Mississippi, we have some big ol'

hills around here. I've had some serious(ly) close calls with that so called helper ABS. It actually caused me to take considerably longer to stop, and the hard I pressed, the longer the damn thing took. I finally got so pissed off, I ripped (disconnected) the harness off the unit under the hood, and drove it like I've know of all my other cars gone by.

Default Doing good man......

Kris has seen me floating around. Caught a drunk 2 days after I got sworn in. Start work for real on Tuesday. I'm off Friday - Monday each week. Pulled a good schedule.

Default I drove a round for several months when my abs computer failed

and everything was fine. its not like your brakes are going to fail or lock up on their own.

Default Yeah man, get those drunks!!!!

My favorite moments as a police officer were taking drunks off of the road..

There was this one guy, old crusty millitary vet, he not only spat on one of the other officers, he tried to run WHILE CUFFED. Being that I was young, and full of vigor, tackled the guy, forgetting that he was cuffed still... oops. he was a little bloody after having my (at the time) 230 lbs crashing him down to the pavement.. luckily though, he had the hinge style cuffs, so it was REALLY easy to pick his sorry azz up...

Then there was the guy that tried to pick a fight with me, another officer, and 3 guards in the jail when we dropped him off.. pepper spray is cool stuff! Just don't be down wind!

Then there were all of the bar fights.. man that was fun.

Default Pepper spray def. sucks but it's better than the tazer.....

We got pepper sprayed and tazed for training. Not at the same time thankfully. I would hoestly rather be pepper sprayed than tazed. I never hurt so much in my life when I got tazed. Those things rock!!!
