If I upgrade to 312mm rotors what are the odds I'll still be able to fit my snows on my 15"

steelies? Offset ET45 with 8mm spacers. (so ET37)
Any experience? I need to do my brakes within the next few weeks, but my Nokians still have a lot of life left in them and I don't want to have to buy a new set of tires if I upgrade my rotors, but the 312mm rotors are another inch bigger in diameter, so I don't know if they'll fit.

Fresh brake fluid + Ferodo DS2500 pads and keep the 288mm rotors.
Not an inexpensive pad but they are very good pads. If you are using stock pads now, the DS2500 has a much higher friction coefficient, stock is ~0.35 while DS2500 is 0.50 at most temps.
BTW, one of the things I only started considering in the last few months while developing my 320x30 front brake system is system bias. I've been tinkering lightly with brakes for a few years now and I'm just starting to get it IMO. You should consider your F/R bias which means calculating your current bias and the bias you will have if you change the brake system from stock. See sites like http://pws.prserv.net/usinet.Young/BrakeBiasCalculator.html.
Stock brake specs are
57mm front piston
38mm rear piston
288mm front rotor
245mm rear rotor
I'd see raceshopper.com for the pads, crappy site but they do have good prices.

Thanks, I will definitely look into those pads. I had also heard good things about the Pagid black
pads.
Any thoughts on ATE v Zimmermann, more or less the same?

...
I'm not really hung up on ATE, Brembo or Zimmermann... as long as they are quality rotors they are okay with me. Of those brands I've only used ATE... I typically buy from my stock of OE rotors which are BDE or SHW for the most part. I do try to avoid anything made in china.
