Maybe an S4, but then it cost more than I was willing to spend.

Default depends..

I really wanted a beater and a summer fun car before I got the Audi, it is still a little underpowered IMHO, but the Quattro is so cool, I don't know now if I could give it up.

Default at the time that I got my car, I don't think there was a better car for me out there

I've had it for 2.5 years now and am still very happy with my decision. I don't think there was another car available when I got mine that had all the things I wanted at the price I paid. I got my 98.5 with about 45K miles on it so we are talking <$20K range. I would be hard pressed to find another car in that price range that has the style, build quality, AWD, and tuning potential of a 1.8T A4.

I guess if I really wanted to do nothing but tune I could have gotten a DSM and still had AWD, but no thanks I'll pass.

Quick Reply: if you could go back and get something instead of ur a4 would u?
