Mine was bad and I just switched it out the car is running fine now but the check engine light is still flashing. Will it just clear itself or is there a way for me to clear it without a vag??? Thanks in advance.

You should never replace parts on a whim without first checking for fault codes. That's basic troubleshooting 101.
The exception to that is if the part cannot be monitored by the ECM, e.g. something purely mechanical. However, in your case the part is being monitored and replacement should have come only after diagnostics.

here's the deal I'm stationed in 29 palms, ca in the middle of nowhere I'm going to drive down to newport beach this afternoon. It's about a half hour mike at purems so I'll hit him up on tuesday for the vag and see what else might be going on. I thought it was normaly #2 as well but they all held around 300 ohms except for #4 nothing at all.
