Default The IHG will strip off whatever wax is there, Thats why you follow up with the blitz.

I noticed that the IHG has mineral oil in it. Does the wax still "stick" to the finish after using the IHG? Is it safe to seal this mineral oil under the wax?

Default It seems to totally evaporate as it hazes up, I've never had a problem waxing afterwards...

and I don't think I've ever seen anyone else here complain about it either, or have problems later. The IHG is definately NOT intended as a final product. Some kind of wax/finish would have to be applied to seal and protect the newly polished paint surface.

The only problem I had was the paint was TOO smooth, and the wax wouldn't stick

I guess after IHG would be the best time to fix/touch up paint b4 Blitz. Right?

Default Depends on what you mean by "touch-up"...

Normally any new paint (I'm not sure if just fixing rock chips counts) needs to cure for at least a week (in the summer, up to a month in cooler cloudier weather) before you should apply wax to it. If you "seal in" soft paint, it may never cure and be much more suceptable to further damage. Just be careful.
