detail. Most tings on Hondas are not innovations though, just copies of German designs. Yet somehow, they manage to do things just a little differently, and this makes them seem to last forever. Its not really true though, I did more brake and exhaust work on my Dad's old Civis Si (hatch and coupe) than i've done on any Audi I've owned.

meh. In 2-3 years I'm sure the early AP1s will be knocking on the $8-9k range. They might be the next "Miatas" for budget, out-of-the-box track brilliance and simplicity. Wonder how they hold up to mileage...

it's a 95 with 45k miles on it
it's not my car - it's my buddys weekend car, which he loaned me for the summer until I get the A4/2.0 rebuilt, I'll probably be driving it till August.
355 LT1
speed-pro forged pistons
eagle h-beam rods
scat crank
spec 3 clutch
fidanza flywheel
BBK 58mm throttle body
ASM 1 3/4" headers
random tech y-pipe with cats
flowmaster exhaust
44# injectors
lt4 knock module
canton valve covers
delete egr and SAIP, getting rid of A/C this weekend
full comp cams valve train, 1.5 pro mag rockers, titanium retainers, springs, chromoly pushrods..etc.
ATI p600b supercharger with 12psi pulley, spearco front mount
becool radiator
rear end is an "SLP Auburn" model from a firehawk, 3.42 gears
all of the intake & boost piping is made from fiberglass and carbon fiber/kevlar, so it doesn't heat soak at all like aluminum would
bunch of other supporting mods... no suspension work though
****ty kumho tires which don't hook up till 4th gear lol
