Default well it is 0.5mm overbore...

however, what you see there is indeed 83mm because it's not an AEB block! ;-)

Default orange block had excessive ring wear...

requiring oversized pistons. That's when the donor 200 came into play, cuz I had talked to the owner cuz it had oversized pistons in that built 10vt. I was gonna buy just the pistons and various other EFI stuff... but he sold me the entire car instead (hate it when that happens!).

Then the guy I bought the original (now orange) engine from (Bruce @ germanautoconnection) said he'd buy back the entire motor and refund my $$, but when he saw the block all clean, honed and painted he's like, well I really don't need that, so if you want to keep it you can. So I'm selling it to Jesper on TDIF for his ridiculous build of the 10vt.

So yeah, I'm technically on motor #3 for the car w/o driving it an inch :-P

Default =) ABA bottom end with forged rods. 16v head....

i know the general concensus is to go ABA 20v, but I came across 2 16v heads for really cheap ($35)...and I rebuilt one with ALL new components (except camshafts). For my power goal, the 16v head will flow more than enough...and besides, it's less reciprocating mass.
