I'm a dumb ***...need help. 1st oil change and can't find the damned drain plug...
It was getting dark so, I'm using that as an excuse
2000 1.8T QMS Also how the hell do you set a damned torque wrench? I really am a noob to cars but I'm trying.

HEHE...already read it. No cover under my car anyway. If it's the 19mm bolt that faces driver's side
and hangs at about a 45 degree angle, then I think I've found it. Kinda hard to get a torque wrench in there though. Do I need some sort of extension?

Very bottom of motor, facing passenger side, big bolt head (19mm) do not overtighten!
I must say, seriously... if you have to ask maybe you shouldn't be doing it? No flames, really... maybe you should at least watch someone who knows what they are doing the first time. Then you can do it yourself next time?

Ok, I was a complete dumb ***. I found the plug and got the oil changed. It really was getting dark
but i was a bonehead about it. Thanks for the info though. i was looking on driver's side from something i read earlier.
