I'm dying for new wheels......
I'd sell my soul for a set of 17" S4 wheels with tires for my 98 1.8T....how much ya think I could get these for used or new? (in terms of dollars, not my soul.) I'm trying to do wheels, tires and suspension for around $1000....i know thats an optimistic figure

i have, all i see are mostly S4 knockoff wheels. I'm hoping i can buy them used in good shape or i can dish out the cash for RS4 wheels (dont tempt me)

yeah just save some cash....and do it right later. S4 wheels and tires
if bought used off someone will run about 700 - 800 alone.(trust me on this one) A decent suspension is 700 bare minimum, that's for shocks and springs, coilovers around 1000 at the cheapest. If you piece meal out shocks one at a time for about 100 and some change each then it won't be so painful. then you save a little longer and get springs for like 250 ish plus shipping. Then you have a suspension, wheels and tires...

still rough..he'll have to end up settling. i would do one at a time
get the suspension now. maybe 5-700 bucks. then start saving again. even used wheels WITH tires aren't gonna be cheap.
