Default I have crossdrilled Brembo..

I like the way they feel and they work great. I have had them for a long time, no stress cracks or anything negative to report.

Default I'd get slotted, they're more effective, but at the expense of pad life.

Pads are easy to change anyway, I'd rather have the increased stopping power.

Default Depends on the look you're going for...

Its doubtful that you'ld notice a difference in braking between slotted, drilled or plain.

Default Neither does cross drilling.

And you can't really be assured of the quality of cross drilled rotors.

Personally, I'm sticking with solid rotors, and just increasing diameter.

they just may last longer than stock rotors.

I'd get crossdrilled just cause I think it looks better.

Default cracking depends on a few factors.

A cheap cross drilled rotor will be more likely to crack than a quality Brembo one. Also, it depends if the rotor has drilled holes or if they are cast in. Some people think the holes cool the rotor better than a non drilled rotor. That probably is not true and rather the vein in the middle of the rotor is responsible for cooling. The slotted or cross drilled rotors are known to last longer than stock rotors. Other than that, they look good but probably offer the same performance as any other quality plain rotor.

Default The holes do help cool...

...such that the greater the surface area exposed to ambient air, the greater the convection cooling.

However, if you look at the grand scheme of things, the amount of cooling attributed to the holes are a drop in the proverbial bucket. So, it might as well be negligible.
