gt2871r turbo
83mm cylinder bore
92.8mm stroke
144mm rods
this will yeild 2007cc displacement based on my calculations.
I am trying to build the ultimate daily driving 4 cyclinder turbo motor. So going past 6500 rpm is not my goal here. I want the turbo to be spooled and ready around 2500 rpm. Is this possible with the build specs listed above?
Any pro's or con's to the increased stroke? or any thoughts in general?

I have a k04 right now and I'm not happy with it. It tapers off too fast. Besides, I want the best of both worlds: a big fat garrett with a quick spool, quick being like 2500rpm. what do you think?

we use a 2871r on our TT 225 kit and our 2.0T FSI kit.
the TT kit spools to full 24 psi right at 4100 and you see 15+ by 3800'ish.
on the 2.0T fsi you start to see 15+ around 3200 with full 21 by 3300-3400'ish.

I could bolt up an eliminator and be spooled up at 3800.
If those number are what I can expect, I would consider it wasted money on internals, except for the rods.
