Default an important matter of pronunciation

how do you pronounce audi?

I usually prefer to say it like audio minus the o at the end. I feel that this is the correct way to say it, even more so because both share the same latin root I think. Doesnt audi mean listen?

Default STFA

OW-DEE

Listen to the commercials, they say OW-DEE

Audi comes from Horch which also means 'to listen' in latin.
Still pronounced like someone named Dee kicked you in the nuts.

It's a brand name, not a verb. Search the archives.
