Impressions of the new Forge valve vs. the TT "N" valve...........

Put simply, the Forge is holding more boost than the TT valve. It is quite an obvious difference. The power and boost I used to have in all gears is now back. 1st and 2nd gears were the most obvious. The TT valve DID hold when I first put it in as new. Slowly over time however, I could feel boost and power levels start to drop off.
During shifting, the Forge feels just as smooth as the TT valve did. Part-throttle acceleration feels the same as well. It is only during WOT, when the BPV has its boost-holding abilities tested, that the difference can be observed. Clearly the TT valve had deteriorated in its ability and was leaking. The Forge, however, is definitely more capable at keeping closed when it encounters chipped boost levels. Over time, I'll see if the Forge valve shows any signs of wear and tear.
