Default inner tie rod end procedure - Bentley manual?

I replaced my outer tie rod ends a couple months back, but driver's side inner/outer end were seized, so only got the passenger side done. I've since bought the inner ends, but can't find a written procedure anywhere. I think there's a 38mm nut or something like that which needs to be removed, and I don't want to start the job without having all the right tools. Is this the kind of thing a Bentley A4 service manual would have a write-up on?

Best source to buy one? Amazon ~$70

Thanks,
e

Default Sure, the Bentley has this procedure. It's quite simple actually...

You have to pull the bellows from the rack, and then use the big crow's foot to remove the inner TRE from the rack. That's pretty much it.

Unfortunately, I do not know what size that crow's foot wants to be, I have yet to replace the inner TRE.

Default I recall it being difficult to find the right size.

Certainly wasn't available for rental from any of the parts stores. I settled on a large pipe wrench that worked perfectly. Turn the wheels to the right for access to the driver side inner. Same procedure, opposite direction for the passenger side. Really was easy once I thought of the pipe wrench.

Default Do you have to hold the steering rack (or whatever the inner TRE attaches to)...

.. with something? Can this joint be seized in the same way as the outer and inner TREs?

No, it's bolted to the car. It's not likely to be seized..
