Default I agree. It's not YOUR fault that the dealer can't get you in right away...

The problem was brought to their attention while you were under warranty, it should be covered regardless of when they finally can get you in.

Default My SAs loved me when I was under warranty..

The dealer is 2 streets over from the Microbrewery, which I'd stagger to and from while my car was being worked on.. They sell their brews in these neat little half gallon jugs... easy to carry!

Default Re: But it was out of warranty.

That's BS! My 13 year old NSX had a window motor repaired ($800 value) last yr because it was in the 1993 bulletin ..That's Acura!

A side airbag molding that falls off after 4 years, 1 week (actually almost caused an accident) is a DEFECT IN MANUFACTORING!!
This is a SAFETY issue, how do I know if the airbag partially filled and is no longer functional? AoA is pathetic in their response and the dealership WORSE because they called it on the spot!

Default Re: BTW, I would have warrantied the repair

I wasn't aware that the warranty was 7 days expired when I was there,I was very polite, and actually 'apologized' that i was bothering them with the repair, prefacing it by assuming the side airbag might be restricted if I glued it myself. Then he said UI was off warranty.
ACURA fixed my 13 year old NSX's window regulator last year free, because it was on the 1993 Bulletin.
Guess it's time to have 2 hondas.

Default Dealers will handle some defects/repairs at their discretion

Danbury Ct did for me - rep vacuum hose and some cosmetic stuff I was responsible for several weeks and miles after w-period. Its all a matter of customer-sat.

Right, if this is how the "new" Inskip Motors treats customers. Bye Bye
