Default installed my european taillights last night...

one of mine was broken so i figured it was a good excuse to upgrade them from the 98.5 version. Install was pretty straight forward, but I was lucky I had wiring left over from my e-code install because I broke one of the metal plugs switching around the wiring (once you figure out the correct "method" for pulling them out it is pretty easy).

They look good though, and now I can finally get my car inspected (it expired in May).

Default You couldn't get it inspected before E-code taillights?

That's messed up!

Default Ohhhhh gotcha... see, I thought you couldn't pass because of your red turn signal....

now they would look like jackasses if they didn't pass you because of that. ;-)

Default yeah, that wouldn't have worked....

i didn't know this before, but apparently they got EXTREMELY strict on that in MA within the past year. So unless it had been completely invisible they would've failed me. They will even fail you even if it's just cracked.

Default yeah, i think it's all part of the attempts to raise state revenue through ticketing...

more cars that fail inspection = more tickets given out by police.

I figure I can turn around and sell my good left one with your right one and make back some money.
