I know BOV's are bad but I love the sound and my 4 mo. old TT 710n DV crapped out on me. Anyway, I was skeptical when I bought it but I'm definitly happy with it. The DV/BOV is staged so when I'm driving normal it works just like a DV, but if I'm under full boost and let off the gas quickly the piston opens up a little higher and lets out a pretty loud pssshhhh...the valve only makes noise when I want it to so I'm not confusing the ECU that often and not doing too much damage to the cat.
As far as performance gains, it's no better than a properly functioning DV.
I would definitly recommend this product to anyone that wants BOV.
