Installing aftermarket head unit
I was wondering if it is possible to mount my aftermarket receiver unit recessed a bit in the slot for the stereo- Reason being is that there is no detachable faceplate and I want to make a fake stock faceplate to cover my receiver when I am parked. I can't recess it too much, as the head unit has a fold out screen (7002 Eclipse) and it has to clear the center console/dash when the screen comes out. Is it possible to do this?
