Default Interesting - coolant leak caused by water pump....

car (73k) is under extended warranty (to 75k) so there's no cost to replace the water pump and I will pay the extra 3 hrs (@ rip-off $80 shop rate)plus $180 parts to replace t-belt. Such a deal.

According to my dealer the no.1 reason for T-belt failure is coolant leaking on it.

Default Same thing happened to me just under 70K on my '98 A4 2.8

I had them do the t-belt also. Might as well, they are in there already.
