much easier to foul a plug when you car is running rich.

Default You should always be careful w/plugs in an aluminum head, use anti sieze 2 save big problems

I do plugs every 10k miles even if I am not having probs.. I may save plugs for the next switch out if they look good, but if you leave them in 2 long you will pull threads with the plugs, then you are looking at a lot of work to save head.
